Patagonia and Tierra Del Fuego
Landed in Ushuaia! the flight
over the beagle canal was amazing. this entire place
is very unique. 20 hours of sunlight a day, weather
changing every 5 minutes and amazing wild landscape
with lots of animals (beavers did names in the forests
there)
On to Puerto natales and the
famous torres del paine. ill let the pictures do the
talking here. in one word: amazing. don't miss it for
the world (circuit. i say again: circuit!)
El calafate and perito moreno,
summit fitzroy at sundown, the amazingly dangerous Ruta
40.
Entered the Caraterra Austral.
7 days of hitchhiking to the most beautiful road in
the world, summit cerro castillo and more. the big tsunami
in asia ruined the fun and made rain for 3 whole day,
so i called it quits and took a ferry from el chaiten
to puerto montt!
In the lakes again, to Osorno,
where i spent new year's eve. next day went to the puyhue
traverse trek. amazing volcano to summit with geysers
and frozen lava.
For the grand finale, back to
pucon. spent 2 weeks at gina's... rested a bit. in the
meantime did the villarica traverse trek and summited
the Volcano Villarica.
After gathering strength, said
goodbye for the last time to patagonia and headed again
to buenos, and from there - rio and the carnival!!!
