Brazil

Really my arrival to Brazil was unplanned. i thought i will finish my trip in buenos in january, but then i decided i want to see the carnival. Was it a good decision? I dunno. I was tired, weary from traveling. Make no mistake, brazil is a great country. But you need to be in full strength for traveling it.

I entered Brazil in the iguazu falls, the famous gigantic waterfalls. From there i planned on going south to floranaplis for the carnival. on arrival in flora, it didn't feel right. it was too sleepy to be a carnival city, so i cut my way to Rio de Janeiro.

Arrived in copacabana, rio is really amazing city. I visited the famous Maracana stadium, the corcovado (big jesus) which has a great view of the city. the beach is awesome as well, especially on sundays.

The carnival was a big mess. lots of dancing in the streets, marches, samba, Capuera. A dazzling experience.

On the 10th of February, 2005 my trip has come to an end. I boarded the airplane back to the holy land. Full and fed up with new memories and experiences. Ready to close yet another chapter in my life. But do not mistake, i promise myself - south america: I will be back!
