Northern Chile And Argentina

Salta was the first City i arrived in argentina, after a 12 bus from the border. This city was a shock to me. after 4 and half months of 3rd world country, finally you see a modern city, with no beggars on the streets, modern cars and all the welfare of a western civilization (almost). we rented a car and drove around salta's district for 2 days - a cloud train and the 7 color mountain.

after salta i continued to cordoba. 2nd largest city in argentina, it has great parties. Mendoza was next - very scenic town, lots of plazas and trees.

From mendoza i crossed over to Chile - straight to santiago. Now this city is sweet. A homey kinda capital, with lots of street show and nice people. try the new subway, its way cool.

From santiago, we're heading south, to Pucon. didn't do anything there this time cause of the rain, but the next time i was there after my trip in the south i stayed 2 weeks...

Through the amazing Chilean lake district full of volcanoes, waterfalls and lakes i crossed the border once more into San Carlos de bariloche.

This town was built for 3 things: meat, chocolate and ice cream (and ski in the winter).

Straight to buenos through viedma - where i visited a nice sea lion reserve. Buenos Aires is just amazing. gigantic. you can wander around the street for days on end and you never get bored (you're bumbed on heaving to return all the way to the hotel though...). Been to a great nightwish concert as well!.
From Buenos i flew to the southern point in the continent - USHUAIA!
